Financial Policy

Herald Square Dental & The Denture Center is well known for delivering the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients. We require payment at the time care is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

If you have dental insurance, our goal is to maximize your insurance benefits and make any remaining balance easily affordable. Financial Assistance

We base our fees on the quality of the materials we use and our experience in performing your needed treatment.

The goal of Herald Square is not to let expense prevent you from benefiting from the quality of care you desire and need. To facilitate this goal, we have developed the following financial options:

1. Senior Citizen Discounts
   
   

   Senior Citizen Discount on New Dentures and Crowns*

   $100 OFF each new denture and $50 OFF of each permanent crown.

   *Some restrictions may apply. Offer expires 11/30/2024

   
   
2. Major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are all accepted in our office.
3. For those patients that require a monthly payment plan, arrangements can be made with CareCredit for extended payments through our office.

If you have questions regarding your account, or you would like help with a Care Credit application please contact us at Herald Square Dental Phone Number (212) 689-0024. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees regardless of your insurance coverage. Most insurance companies will respond to you within four to six weeks for a pre-determination if we are taking assignment of benefits or for your reimbursement if you have had care administered already and we have submitted on your behalf. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan but this should be done prior to the actual procedure.

Minor Patients

Minor Patients: The parent or guardian accompanying a minor is responsible for all costs associated with the visit.

Missed Appointments

Missed Appointments: As a courtesy to our Herald Square Dental team, Dr. Pasch, Dr. Yam, Dr. Shirzadnia or Dr. Kim, and other patients, we do expect at least 24 to 48-hour notice of a cancellation. Charges may be made for broken appointments and appointments cancelled without 24 hours advanced notice.

Insurance Information

Your insurance plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer.  You can expect the carrier to reimburse you  a portion of our fee or in some cases to pay us directly a percentage of the contracted fee. The portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. Our goal is to maximize your insurance benefits and make any remaining balance easily affordable. At Herald Square Dental & The Denture Center, we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this, we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. At Herald Square Dental & The Denture Center, we pride ourselves in being well-informed and up-to-date. We take every step necessary to efficiently process our patient’s dental insurance benefits.

We accept/participate with these major dental PPO insurance plans:

Dental Discount Plans– no approval necessary, patient pays according to the plan fee schedule:

• Aetna Savings Plan
• Cigna Vital Savings
• North East Dental
• Signature Dental

Also:

Cigna United Federation of Teachers members: we accept your insurance towards payment.  The patient is responsible for the difference.
DC37 members: we accept your insurance towards payment.   The patient is responsible for the difference.
